Collect Text Snippets and Other Valuable Data |
Use macOS's handy Services menu for collecting and organizing information bits and snippets to DEVONthink.
Select any piece of data and capture it to the currently open database with a keystroke or a quick visit to the Services menu. Most true macOS applications such as TextEdit, Safari, or DEVONthink itself support this mechanism. DEVONthink automatically sets the title of the newly created snippet to the first line of text, so there's a good chance that you won't even need to rename it. New snippets are created in the global inbox or the location you choose. Also, DEVONthink can help classify and file the items using its built-in artificial intelligence. Possible uses:
